Machinelab specialises in creating customised and special-purpose automation solutions designed to meet the specific requirements of our customers, who are mainly in Medical Device, Surgical Implant, Guide Wire, Life Science and Electronics Industries. Our machines use servo controlled systems and Robotics to optimise production processes, enhancing both efficiency and precision in tasks that would otherwise be complex or time-consuming for manual workers. Machinelab are based in Wexford, Ireland with Multi national customers in Ireland and through this network, Machinelab also have installations in Central America with plans to expand further.

Machinelab offer more than the Standard Build to Print Service. We go above and beyond and offer engineering services that help to manage the whole process, including management of obsolescence, legacy parts, BOM Gap Analysis & Fix, built-in Continuous Improvement. Build to Print is the process of manufacturing from customer designs.

Machinelab has been founded on Precision Engineering. We have a fully equipped Tool room with 3 Axis, 5 Axis Mills, Lathes , 3-D Printing where we manufacture specialist parts for Surgical Implants, Cardiac Guide Wires, Electronics and Aerospace. Our Tool Room works in Partnership with the Projects Team on Fixtures and Proof of Concept.

Design Services

Machinelab have a fully serviced Internal Design Department using Solid Works and Product Design Libraries, we can provide Design Services for Proof of Concept, Reverse Engineering and Customised Machine Design.  

Proof of Concept

In cases where there are Technical Uncertainties, Machinelab can assist with developing Proof of Concept modules for purpose of Project De-Risking and URS Clarification. 

CNC Machining

We have a fully equipped Tool Room with 3 Axis and 5-Axis CNC Milling Centres, 3-Axis CNC Lathe Centres, Wire EDM Centre, 3D Printing and Laser Etching.  We can assist our customers with providing Engineering and Programming support for Customers. 

Fixture Design & Manufacture

For many of our customers, their processes and products are made with a high degree of manual labour. Fixtures are custom built  assemblies which facilitate the process of manufacture. We offer the full life cycle Design Service from Design Qualification to FAT at our Factory and Installation on Site.
