We are searching for a Leader in Applications and Software with a ‘Zero Defect Mindset’ to join our team and be part of our ongoing success in the areas of automation and customised machine building for diagnostics, medical device and other regulated industries.
🔑 Role Overview:
The Director of Applications & Engineering is a senior technical leadership role responsible for delivering robust, commercially viable automation solutions across GMP-regulated industries, food, and FMCG.
The role combines engineering leadership, applications development, and project execution. It requires translating customer requirements (URS) into scalable, standardised technical solutions aligned with MachineLab’s capabilities and strategic direction.
This is a hands-on role, requiring active involvement in software development (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Schneider, Siemens), automation design, and technical problem-solving, not purely managerial oversight so it is an ideal role for a mid-level senior technical leader who is ready to take the next step in their career.
This position acts as a key deputy to the Managing Director on all technical matters.
